my guy friend wants to an personally i think hes being a dumbass. he wants to be a vet but he says school is too hard and just 'doesn't feel like it'. i wish i could get him to realize how big of a mistake that would be.

I don't know anybody who has dropped out of high school and ended up being happy with their decision, and I happen to know a few people who have done this. They all end up going to adult high school or getting their GEDs, which takes time out of their (usually low-paying) paychecks.
So unless you want to work at a restaurant or bar or grocery store for the rest of your life, stay in school.
